The New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association (NJCTA) was founded in 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic and the development of the public policy for legal adult use cannabis coincided.  Membership is open to any entity that is licensed by the State to operate in the regulated cannabis industry. There is diversity among our member base, which includes medical and adult-use cannabis companies, vertically integrated and standalone permit holders, multi-state and single-state operators, and minority and women-owned business enterprises.  The mission of the NJCTA is to ensure that the legal cannabis marketplace is not only safe, accessible and affordable, but also equitable, profitable and just. To achieve this, the NJCTA strives to shape public awareness and encourage the implementation of thoughtful and responsible cannabis policy in New Jersey and serves as a singular voice before the executive branch, legislature, regulator, media and the public at large on the complex matters that impact our industry.
