For four decades, Captive Resources has provided mid-market companies with the ability to become insurance company owners rather than insurance buyers and lower their total cost of risk. We do this through the creation, development, and oversight of member-owned group captive insurance companies.  We currently advise 45 group captives—including four Medical Stop Loss group captives—comprising 6,300 member-companies and more than $4 billion in annual premium. Alongside our four decades of experience with Casualty captives, Captive Resources has supported Medical Stop Loss group captives since 2011, to help companies self-fund their employer-sponsored health insurance in a stable environment with a group of best-in-class, engaged employers.  Captive Resources supports every aspect of the captives we advise, from claims advocacy to operational oversight, risk management, financial services, regulatory compliance, investment services, and more.
