Parent Advocate
Job Details
The Parent Advocate collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to assist parents/guardians/caregivers with a variety of support services. Assists in planning and referrals to families for community-based services or programs. Will serve as a customer service provider to ensure a positive relationship in interactions with all participants, schools and community. Provide lived experience and knowledge about education and advocacy for families. Will travel throughout Burlington County to coordinate service delivery with schools.
The NJ4S Hub serves all schools within Burlington County and links parents and students to community services based on needs.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with proof of some post-high school training, college work, or certificate program. AA/AS degree preferable. Must be a parent with lived experience and knowledge of the school system and community services.
