Job Description
We are searching for a Supply Chain Management Clerk for our clients Manufacturing Company located in Burlington. This is a Long Term Temp assignment.
Hours: Monday-Friday-8:00am-5:00pm
Pays: $25.00 an hour
SUMMARY
Performs duties associated with supply chain management by providing administrative and clerical support for the department. Will be responsible for creating accurate and complete purchase orders for placing orders for raw materials. Will be tracking incoming items to help ensure that here will not be any unforeseen interruptions to production.

Procurement Functions
- Monitors MRP system/Excel to maintain inventory levels and communicate availability.
- Responsible for placing accurate and complete purchase orders based on raw material needs using Excel, Process Pro and Microsoft Access.
- Responsible for sending purchase orders to appropriate vendors, following up with vendors for confirmation and for estimate delivery for raw materials.
- Communicate with vendors on any late or missing shipments or report any damaged goods.
- Responsible for producing daily purchase order reports and sending them to appropriate departments.
- Communicate daily with scheduling, production, shipping & receiving departments on raw material questions/concerns.
- Maintains necessary records and files for supply chain management department.
- Communicate daily with Production, Research & Development (R&D), Quality, Management and Logistic on supply chain related topics.
- Provide backup support for Supply Chain Management Specialist, when needed.
- Assist in ensuring that company inventories of raw materials and packaging are maintained at appropriate levels for the company, for the Plant, internal and external warehouses.
- Assist with tracking supplier performance, when needed.
- Assist with interaction with outside warehouse on raw material matters, and transfers to outside warehouse on raw materials, when needed.
- Assist with updating purchase order prices in Process Pro, when needed.
- Assist to ensure the department is compliant with current ISO standards for ISO audits.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Proficiency with MRP system/Microsoft Excel Spread sheets and other Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
- Must be detailed oriented, accurate and organized.
- Proficient in time management with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels internally and externally.
- Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and numerically astute.
- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to be a team player and encourage teamwork.
- Ability to implement Digital Transformation Strategies.
