Avoiding the Next Headline: Minimizing Reputational Risk While Meeting Modern Challenges

Wednesday, February 18, 2026 (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (EST)

Description

Over the past five years state level environmental justice (EJ) programs have expanded from one (New Jersey) to now eleven states. We recently saw important action in Massachusetts and expect news from Minnesota early next year.

Social impact analysis cannot be limited to these states. Major projects affect their local communities via economic, environmental, and social areas. Proceeding on a project without minimizing negative impacts risks reputational harms and delays to the project.

This discussion will highlight state programs and offer proactive steps that industry can take now to minimize associated risks for their projects. As part of this webinar, we will also examine data center proliferation and how reputational risk may come into play.
