Announcing the 2021 FAA Challenge Smart Airport Student Competition

Finalists will be invited to demonstrate their concepts at the 2021 FAA Challenge Forum and compete for a $25,000 cash prize!

Open to both undergraduate and graduate students from accredited U.S.-based colleges and universities, the FAA Challenge is an engineering design competition that asks student teams to develop creative solutions to real-life transportation technology challenges.

Considering the cutting-edge needs of the FAA and smart airports of the future, the 2021 FAA Challenge seeks project plan proposals in response to one of the four following themes:
