BookSmiles Founder Larry Abrams Appears on The Tamron Hall Show
Larry Abrams of BookSmiles had the chance to spend a day in New York City this week, and it’s one he won’t forget. He got to meet LeVar Burton again while he was on the Tamron Hall Show hosting his “Trivial Pursuit” segment—and yes, he said he’s every bit as genuine and inspiring as you’d hope. Larry and LeVar first met at the 2022 NJEA Teachers’ Convention, so it was great for them to reconnect.
Larry is very grateful to Tamron Hall and her team for giving him the opportunity to share the BookSmiles mission with a national audience. Moments like this help them reach more people and get more books into the hands of kids who need them.
Back home, BookSmiles is building that momentum in a big way. They’ve officially signed the lease on their new 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Cherry Hill. It’s a major step forward, and they’ll be launching an expansion campaign soon to help bring the space to life and support the early fall move.
