Voorhees, NJ, July 1, 2022 – Accounting and management consultants Bowman & Company LLP announces the election of Evan J. Palmer to Partner effective July 1, 2022.

Evan Palmer started his career with the Governmental Services Department of the Firm in 2007. His areas of expertise include the audit of county and municipal governments, school districts, charter schools, and fire districts of the State of New Jersey. Mr. Palmer is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, Registered Municipal Accountant, and Public School Accountant. He has also been certified by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer. In addition to performing audits, he has assisted clients with arbitrage calculations and has served as a speaker for various continuing professional education courses in the areas of municipal accounting, auditing and budgeting. Mr. Palmer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Registered Municipal Accountants' Association of New Jersey where he serves in the capacity of Secretary and was appointed as the in charge of website design. Mr. Palmer also enjoys serving as the Treasurer of the 200 Club of Burlington County which has the primary mission of providing financial assistance to the families of fallen or injured members of the State Police, County and Municipal Police, Fire or Emergency Medical Services serving the citizens of Burlington County. He also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Gloucester County NAACP that has the mission to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007. Mr. Palmer resides in Haddon Heights, Camden County with his wife Stasia and their two children.
