CITY OF CAMDEN AND CENTER FOR FAMILY SERVICES COLLABORATE FOR FALL EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Connections to employment services, jobs, training, expungement, and local community resources will be available outside of City Hall.
CAMDEN, NJ – On Thursday, September 26th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Center For Family Services, in partnership with the City of Camden will present a FREE Fall Employment and Community Resource Fair with over 40 employer partners at Roosevelt Plaza Park (next to Camden City Hall at 520 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08101). The event includes access to resources and connections to services for residents such as expungement and transportation. The first 50 participants to register at the event will receive a gift card.
This outdoor event format aims to draw residents from across the city to speak directly with employers about open positions. On-the-spot interviews will be available for qualified and interested candidates. Resume review and printing will be offered to support candidates in connecting with employers. Training and skill-building programs will also be represented for those exploring career changes and/or opportunities for advancement.
The Center For Family Services’ Workforce Development Team has been hosting Employment and Community Resource Fairs quarterly since 2023, with the number of participants growing with each event. Among those welcoming participants and making remarks will be residents who were able to successfully secure employment as a result of attending a past job fair.
Remarks will start at 11:00 a.m. and include Mayor Victor Carstarphen, alongside Merilee Rutolo, President & Chief Strategy Officer at Center For Family Services.

Free event parking is available at Parking Lot N on a first come, first serve basis. Parking Lot N is located at Federal and Hudson Streets (across from Camden City Hall).
