Parsippany, NJ and Glastonbury, CT— January 8, 2026—Delta Dental of New Jersey, Inc. (DDNJ) announced the appointments of James Gemus and Paul J. Di Maio to its Board of Trustees, effective January 1, 2026.

Gemus and Di Maio will fill Board vacancies created by the retirements of longtime Trustees William Faulkner and Morton Reinhart.

Gemus brings to his Board role experience from being CEO and Founder of Eagle View Advisors, LLC, an employee benefits and leadership/business management consulting firm. Gemus has also held a range of senior leadership roles at Prudential’s Group Insurance business, spanning product, distribution, and business segments, as well as MetLife’s eBusiness/Digital, Voluntary Benefits, and strategy/technology governance/reengineering across all MetLife Businesses. He has also served on multiple Boards of Directors, including Texas Life (Chairman), MetLife Auto & Home, Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore USO, and American Benefits Council. Gemus currently serves on the advisory boards of innovative fintech and insurtech companies that leverage AI to enhance performance across the insurance industry.

DDNJ’s Board of Trustees is comprised of 10 members, which will now also include Delta Dental’s President and CEO Paul Di Maio.  “Joining the Board allows us to more tightly align our daily operations with our long-term strategic vision," said Di Maio.
