Dr. Coriell Nominated for NJ Hall of Fame
Dear Friends,
I am happy to share with you the great news that Dr. Lewis Coriell, founder of the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden, has been nominated for the New Jersey Hall of Fame Class of 2025 (https://www.nj.com/entertainment/2025/03/uncle-floyd-kirsten-dunst-isley-brothers-brooke-shields-among-nj-hall-of-fame-nominees.html) in the Education, Research, Engineering and Science category (https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/8dEohK7/2025PublicVOTE).
This is a much deserved honor for Dr. Coriell for his many contributions to improving public health, developing breakthrough research methods and advancing science, including helping to create the technology used to develop the polio vaccine and running the field trials for the Salk vaccine, developing air filtration techniques to keep laboratories and operating rooms free of contamination, and partnering with the NIH to establish the world's largest cell depository of genetic and age-related diseases to assist researchers around the world.
The next step in the process is the public online vote which is open until April 15 (https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/8dEohK7/2025PublicVOTE). Please join me in supporting Dr. Coriell's nomination.
