Short Hills, New Jersey (May 20, 2020) – Investors Bank has further built out its Business and Government Banking units. The Bank has added two experienced executives as part of its overall strategy to enhance its best-in-class service and treasury management solutions to better meet the needs of customers. The strengthened organization is responsible for acquiring and managing banking relationships with small and mid-sized companies throughout New Jersey, New York City and on Long Island.

The enhanced team will enable the Bank to provide greater and more specific resources to assist customers in meeting their financial objectives.

In announcing the appointments, Investors Bank’s Head of Business and Government Banking Michael MacIntyre said, “We have expanded our business banking leadership team with the addition of two highly qualified, experienced professionals who will provide greater market understanding of our communities in New Jersey, New York and Long Island. This step further positions Investors as the preferred financial institution for small and mid-sized businesses throughout our footprint. The credibility and presence that these experienced professionals will bring to the market will help Investors to enter a new phase of growth in New Jersey, New York and Long Island.”

The two executives whose appointments he announced will report directly to him:

Jenna Buretta, Senior Vice President and Business Banking Market Executive for Central and Southern New Jersey, is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and accomplished banker. Ms. Buretta joins Investors from her previous position leading HSBC Bank’s small business lending teams in the greater Philadelphia region. She brings decades of retail and business banking expertise to Investors. Based in Mount Laurel, Ms. Buretta, who also has held executive banking positions at TD Bank, Citibank and Commerce Bank, is responsible for expanding the business banking operation in her markets, increasing awareness of the Investors brand and developing and mentoring the team. 

David Norton, Senior Vice President and Business Banking Market Executive for New York, is a proven sales and business manager with extensive banking, project implementation and management experience. Mr. Norton’s primary responsibility is broadening relationships with the Bank’s business clients in New York while increasing market share among companies in the $2 million to $20 million range. He was previously SVP and Northeast Regional Executive for Business Banking at HSBC Bank in New York City. He brings a deep of knowledge of retail and business banking, including more than 20 years of experience as a senior bank executive at JP Morgan Chase.

In making the announcement, Mr. MacIntyre noted, “We continue to invest substantial resources to build-out our business banking capabilities.
