Cape May Court House, NJ (December 12, 2022) – Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Training, and Opportunity Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation that assists individuals of all abilities in reaching their maximum potential for leading independent and satisfying lives as members of the community, has announced that it has donated $50,000 toward food distribution in Cape May County.

In the spirit of the season and to give back to the community that Jersey Cape is so proud to call home, 25 food pantries in Cape May County received a monetary donation to assist in food distribution efforts. Assemblyman Antwan McClellan was on hand as Jersey Cape announced the donations. The Assemblyman was also on hand to learn more about Jersey Cape in order to share information about its disability, youth, workforce development, and veteran services to his constituents. 

The 25 food pantries include Angel Visit Baptist Church, Bethel Commandment Church, Cape May Community Food Closet, Coalition Against Rape & Abuse, Caring for Kids, Christ Gospel Church AGAPE Center, Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro Vera Smith Community Food Pantry, Dennisville United Methodist Church Angel Manna Food Pantry, Family Promise of Cape May County, First Baptist Church Whitesboro, First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House, Green Creek Bethel United Methodist Church, Holy Redeemer Home Care & Hospice, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Lazarus House Emergency Food Pantry, St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish, Ocean City Ecumenical Council, Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene Gleaning Center, Seaville United Methodist Church, South Dennis Trinity United Methodist Church, South Seaville United Methodist Church, St. Barnabas Cares Food Pantry, The Branches of Rio Grande, and Tuckahoe United Methodist Church.
