Judicial Naturalization Ceremony Held Aboard Battleship New Jersey – Wednesday, May 7, 2025

What:
Camden, NJ – The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial proudly hosted the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey as they welcomed 41 new citizens during a special naturalization ceremony aboard the Battleship. U.S. district judge for the District of New Jersey, the Honorable Edward S. Kiel introduced keynote speaker, Justice Michael Noriega of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Honorable Edward S. Kiel administered the Oath of Allegiance, and USCIS Mt. Laurel Field Office Director Keith Dorr made the official naturalization motion to the court.

The new citizens all live in New Jersey and were lawful permanent residents (green card holders) prior to becoming citizens and have met the requirements to naturalize, including passing a history and civics exam.
