KeyBank announces Jamie T. Tranfalia has been appointed Commercial Banking Leader for Key's Eastern Pennsylvania Market. In his role, Tranfalia will oversee customer service and business development throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, as well as manage a team dedicated to providing expertise and financial solutions to commercial clients. He is based in KeyBank’s Eastern Pennsylvania headquarters office at 401 Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting.

Tranfalia is an experienced commercial banking leader with more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as team leader, Commercial Banking, for Citizens Bank. He has also held similar roles with Wells Fargo Bank and Brown Brothers Harriman.

“Jamie’s diversity of experience, as well as his track record developing and growing strong commercial client relationships and delivering a superior client experience positions him well to lead this team and grow the commercial banking business throughout the region,” said Robert Kane, President, Eastern Pennsylvania Market, KeyBank. “He has had a tremendous career, and we look forward to his continued success in this new role.”

Tranfalia served for several years as a U.S. Air Force Captain and Nuclear Missile Crew Commander, managing a large team of nuclear missile launch officers. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the U.S. Air Force Academy and master’s of business administration degree from Colorado State University.  

An active member of the community, Tranfalia volunteers with a number of organizations, including the American Heart Association, and sits on the boards of the Committee of Seventy and Liberty USO in Philadelphia, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey.
