Lenape Regional H.S. District Partners With Area Psychiatry Group to Offer No-Cost Mental Health Services to Students
SHAMONG, NJ — The Lenape Regional High School District (LRHSD) has formed a partnership with a local outpatient psychiatry group to enhance the school district’s mental health support.
LRHSD’s Board of Education adopted a resolution in March 2022 to establish the District as a “Stigma-Free Zone” for mental health awareness. The district's new partnership with Insite Health is one of the initiatives that the Lenape District provides to support its objective to have 100 percent of its students maintain emotional, physical and mental well-being throughout their lifetimes.
Insite Health offers in-person care at their Cherry Hill office in addition to telehealth appointments for adolescents and adults. InSite is a comprehensive psychiatry service provider dedicated to helping communities maintain safe environments by offering prompt access — often same week openings — to board certified psychiatry providers in network with major public and private health insurance plans.
Currently, InSite is partnered with more than one hundred schools with a focus on adolescent mental healthcare. The services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and behavioral threat assessments for students in need of outpatient care for diagnoses like depression, anxiety, trauma, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD and other mental health conditions.
These services are now available at no cost to LRHSD students. For more information, please contact the InSite team at 833-939-4192 or visit their website at www.insitehealth.net.
