Liberty Bell Bank Welcomes Students from Future Bankers & Financial Professionals Camp
Liberty Bell Bank representatives John Herring, NJ Market President, Joyce Stewart, Vice President, NJ Hub Manager and Ken Miller, Vice President, Residential Mortgage Lender were joined by executives from the bank’s parent company, The Bank of Delmarva, in welcoming a group of Camden students to Liberty Bell’s Marlton branch.
The students were part of the Future Bankers & Financial Professionals Camp designed to motivate and tap into the talent of high-achieving minority students from low-income areas, exposing them to promising careers in the financial services industry. The camp is a collaborative effort of the Center for Financial Training International, FDIC, Rowan University CHAMP Program, Rutgers University – Camden, Camden City School District with support of area banks.
“We welcome any opportunity to showcase potential career paths at Liberty Bell Bank, but we were even more pleased to take part in a larger discussion with area students about opportunities within the banking industry as a whole, said Herring. “The Future Bankers & Financial Professionals Camp offers a great, hands-on experience for students and we were proud to be included as one of their site-visits.”
