No Fooling! MEND Holding “Fun” Raiser Event on April 1

Festive evening to feature food, beer and wine tastings, live music and more

MOORESTOWN, NJ – It’s no joke! Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development (MEND) is hosting its annual “Fun” Raiser Friday, April 1 from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Venue at Lenola located at 229 North Lenola Road in Moorestown.

This casual, fun-filled evening will feature appetizers, open bar, silent auction, door prizes, delicious food from Cathy’s Catering, and live entertainment provided by The David Christopher Band. Beer and wine tasting will also be available from local breweries and wineries such as Double Nickel Brewery, Dr. Brewlittle’s Beer, The Valenzano Family Winery and Versi Vino.

“We are excited to bring the community together to celebrate 53 years of providing safe and affordable rental housing to the South Jersey community,” said Eileen Wirth, President/CEO of MEND. “ We encourage everyone to attend what’s guaranteed to be a great night - - all for a good cause!”

Proceeds from the evening will help MEND keep rents at below-market levels, thus easing the costs for current and future residents who can then better afford other important necessities like food, clothing and health care.

Tickets are $100 per person (includes door prize ticket). Sponsorships and ad opportunities are also available. This year’s generous sponsors include Dr. Lucy Rorke-Adams (in loving memory of Boyce M. Adams), Dietz & Watson and Garrison Architects.

RSVPs are required by March 21. For more information about purchasing tickets, sponsorships or ad opportunities, please call (856) 772-7070 ext.19 or email info@mendinc.org or visit https://mendinc.org/events/annual-gala/ .
