Scott Sutton Recognized With Governor's Volunteerism Award
Burlington Press President & CEO Scott Sutton was recently presented with a New Jersey State Governor's Volunteerism Award for his work with Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, NJ. The award is "for extraordinary service to (the) community" in the Animal Welfare category.
In a social media post, Sutton said: "A big thank you to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge Executive Director Mike O'Malley for nominating me. My name may be on this certificate, but it's the work that you, your staff and all the volunteers do that should be celebrated. I'm happy to be a passionate advocate for Cedar Run's mission and help whenever I can."
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge is a 171-acre non-profit wildlife refuge, wildlife rehabilitation hospital & nature center on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands dedicated to the preservation of New Jersey’s wildlife and habitats through education, conservation, and rehabilitation.
