The Small Business Direct Install program (SBDI)  offers energy efficiency incentives to commercial facilities (regardless of owning or renting the space).  SBDI was designed specifically for small-medium sized businesses, schools, municipalities, and nonprofits with up to 80% upfront incentives of covered costs including equipment, installation, and labor to upgrade and replace old, inefficient:

v  Lighting retrofits, including fixtures, sensors, and controls 

v  Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including programmable thermostats and other controls

v  Boilers

v  Commercial refrigeration controls

v  Motors 

As an approved trade ally, FSG can offer a free, no obligation energy assessment. All I need to determine eligibility is the most recent gas and electric bill and a brief description of the age and type of equipment in need of replacement. Also most utilities also offer 0%  financing for the remainder of the energy equipment upgrades (criteria differs per utility).

SBDI is possible through the Societal Benefits Charge that each commercial account owner pays monthly in fees on their electric bill; it's like receiving .$.60 -$.80 back on every dollar charged and using it to replace old, inefficient equipment through approved and vetted contractors.
