            Selling to the World: Fundamentals of Exporting for SMEs and MWBEs
The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) has created a new training program entitled, Selling to the World for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as minority and women-owned enterprises (MWBEs), interested in learning more about becoming a global supplier.
The three, one-day training sessions, which are open to both established exporters and those businesses interested in learning about becoming a global supplier, will take place once a month, April through June from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in Philadelphia. Sessions include:
- Developing an export strategy
 - Finding qualified buyers
 - Logistics and shipping
 - Export financing
 - International business culture and etiquette
 
Upon completion of the training, companies will receive:
- Access to one-on-one trade counseling from WTCGP international trade specialists
 - Mentorship by experienced exporters and international service providers
 - Complimentary admission to the Annual Global Business Conference
 - One-year complimentary membership to WTCGP
 
Who should apply?
- SMEs in southern New Jersey, as well as the greater Philadelphia region
 - MWBEs, which also includes LGBTQ+ and veteran-owned businesses
 - Companies that have been in business a minimum of three years
 - Companies with strong financials and $5+ million in total annual sales
 - Companies with exportable products ideally manufactured in the U.S.
 - Companies with exportable services, such as engineering, environmental consulting and architectural engineering and design
